The Yorkshire Three Peaks is an exciting challenge and a fantastic day’s walking. The walk follows a circular route throughout the Pennines. Our open Yorkshire Three Peaks events are aimed at individuals and small groups, we run one event per month from May to September. If you have a group of 4 upwards please visit our Yorkshire Three Peaks – private group.

The route covers 24.5 miles (39.2km) and climbs over 1500 metres through some of the most spectacular countryside in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Three Peaks are:

  • Pen-y-Ghent 694m
  • Whernside 763m
  • Inglebrough 723m

This challenge is usually completed in a continuous loop and the allocated time is 12 hours. If a member of the party cannot or does not want to continue at any point there are a number of opportunities to stop walking and get in our support vehicle which will transport them back to Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

We limit our open Yorkshire Three Peaks events to 50 people and tend to put 8 to 10 people per guide.

On successful completion we will provide you with a certificate.
