Alfresco Adventures & Low Mill Outdoor Centre

Inspiring Outdoor Learning for the Next Generation

In 2023, Alfresco Adventures proudly partnered with Low Mill Outdoor Centre, combining our expertise to ensure this incredible centre continues its mission—introducing young people to the life-changing power of the great outdoors.

For over 50 years, Low Mill has delivered tailored outdoor adventure experiences from its unique base in Askrigg, Wensleydale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. I (Sam, director of Alfresco Adventures) and my connection with Low Mill is personal—I first experienced its magic at the age of 11. That early adventure helped shaped my future and I’m proud we now support the work they’ve been doing for generations.
