EVER FANCIED KAYAKING BUT DIDN’T WANT TO THROW YOURSELF IN AT THE DEEP END? YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!
Our Ripon to Boroughbridge Kayak Experience on the River Ure is aimed at people who are complete beginners wanting a ‘kayaking river journey’, those looking for a fun day out with like-minded people doing something a little different or those looking for a fun and exciting family day.
Our qualified instructor will meet you at the end location, where we will kit you up with the equipment you’ll need. Then we will all be transported by minibus or taxi to Ripon where you will be given a safety brief before getting on the kayaks– now the adventure really begins!
Leaving Ripon our instructor will be on hand to give you top tips and guide you down the river. On route to Boroughbridge (a little over half way), we will stop on route for lunch at the scenic West Wick Lock, before getting back on the kayaks you back to your vehicle in Boroughbridge.
As Kenneth Grahame said “There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
