Are you the new Robin Hood or Maid Marion? Archery is an enjoyable, addictive and fun activity, which is suitable for ages of 7 upwards. All of our picturesque locations in North Yorkshire, we can also come to a venue of your choice (subject to meeting certain criteria) In the session we will aim to cover:
- The basic techniques
- An aiming technique called ‘aiming off’
- Scoring; everyone will get an individual score, with three ends (9 arrows)
- Games which are competitive for individuals and groups
Session times can vary due to group size for group sizes of 4-6 they tend to last for 2 hours and then for 3 hour from 7 upwards. These can however be tailored to suit your needs. If you have already had a go at Barebow Archery and fancy something slightly more advanced (Freestyle Archery) why not try a different style with our recurve bows and sights? We can also introduce you to shooting from a greater distance and the more technical side of archery. Our instructors have a wealth of experience and are all Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) qualified.
