Description

Alfresco Adventures offer a unique experience for adults, combining the vital skills needed for bushcraft survival: shelter building, fire lighting and foraging. First, this course offers adults specialist guidance in how to build effective shelters from a range of natural tools. We teach you how to combine materials to make strong and habitable shelters. There is a challenge element to this where groups can be split into teams and tested on their new knowledge as to who can build the most effective shelter. The second aspect to the experience teaches you have to safely prepare food in the wild, utilising skills such as fire lighting and cooking on an open fire. You will be challenged to prepare a meal for the group. This bushcraft experience is flexible and can be tailored to suit any group; it can also be merged with another activity to lengthen your experience and put your new survival skills into practice. We also offer an optional bush tucker trail giving you the opportunity to eat crickets, locusts, mealworms and more. Do you DARE?
